Trade Affiliations

Celebrating quality, consistency and excellence

At Barrett’s Technology Solutions we take pride in surrounding ourselves with great talent, inspiring trade organizations, and a network of peers with whom we can share insight, learn from and grow alongside. We invite you to learn more about the various affiliations we belong to:

  • Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA) – HTSA is a national association of specialty retailers and custom integrators, who design, specify and install premier residential and commercial electronic systems. Ranging from home automation and media rooms to lighting control systems and multi-room audio, today’s digital living environments demand a specialist who helps connect the products in the home, at work or on the go, simply and correctly, while maximizing their performance.

  • Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) – CEDIA is a global home technology trade association that offers home automation, audio video, home network training and certification.

  • Northern Illinois Home Builders Association (NIHBA) – The Northern Illinois Home Builders Association is a non-profit organization of professional builders, remodelers, contractors, suppliers and associate members dedicated to the promotion and protection of their business interests and growth of the building industry.

  • American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) – The ASID is a community of people – designers, industry representatives, educators and students – committed to interior design. Through education, knowledge sharing, advocacy, community building and outreach, ASID strives to advance the interior design profession and, in the process, to demonstrate and celebrate the power of design to positively change people’s lives.

  • U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) – USGBC is made up of tens of thousands of member organizations, chapters and student and community volunteers that are moving the building industry forward in a way that has never been seen before. USGBC is a diverse group of builders and environmentalists, corporations and nonprofits, teachers and students, lawmakers and citizens that share the same vision of a sustainable built environment for all within the next generation.
